Nature
Cabo de Gata, Sierra Cabrera, Sierra de los Filabres, Sierra María de los Velez, desierto de Tabernas, Sierra Nevada,… An ideal environment for hikers and mountain bikers! Many cycling teams also train here.
Beaches
The Costa de Almería has miles of beaches, interspersed with small bays. Naturism is allowed and accepted in many places.
Culture
Almería city, Cartagena, Lorca, Murcia, Granada,…
Adventure
Especially in Cabo de Gata there are many adventure activities being organized, such as 4×4 tours, sea kayak, etc.
Film
Tabernas is the place where many westerns were filmed and here you can visit several theme parks. Mini Hollywood (= Oasys Parque) is one of the more extensive.
In this region, however, several film recordings were made, among others: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Game of Thrones, Mar de Plástico, La Casa de Papel…
Mining
Several walks are possible along and through abandoned mining sites.
